BLACKDEN EDITION 005 is period correct perfection. 

 

An extremely rare Automatic 3.9 V8 Two Door Classic, this unadulterated, restored example is true to the early 90's.

 

Automatic Two Doors were special factory order only, and were not available from the showroom. Very very few were built in the 24 year run of Range Rover Classic Two Doors, which began with the Suffix A in 1970, finishing with the last example leaving the factory in January 1994.

 

Presented in immaculate Ardennes Green paintwork with color coded VOGUE wheels (complete with their diamond cut silver lip), front lower spoiler and upgraded Vogue seating, it is peak 90's specification with all the optional extras of the time offered from factory selected when sold new.  

 

The upgraded VOGUE front and rear seats offer armrests for all passengers and also allow for the rear seats to be split folded down as opposed to the singular rear bench standard on Two Door Classic Range Rovers.

 

Whilst appearing completely standard and original, the interior is completely new. EDITION 005 benefits from new carpeting from the front to the rear,  including the trunk, new door cards, new seat upholstery in the exact teddy bear velour and new headliner. 

 

An upgraded AC system and new audio system with new speakers and new bluetooth radio make for an enjoyable interior for both driver and passengers.

 

During the restoration process, the vehicle was completely stripped down with the entire interior, all panels, all glass, and all seals removed for paint work. Mechanically, a full overhaul of the powertrain and running gear was completed.
